The artist biography will be added shortly.
Travis Bürki, also known as Ü , was born in 1970 in Marseille. Aged 14 , he wrote his first English songs (he had moved to London at 11), adapted poems by Rimbaud, took to singing, playing the piano, the guitar and created his first band "The Primitiv" after he had settled in Lyon and later created the famous band from Toulouse "Loch Ness" for which he switched to French song-writing. After architecture college studies, he arrived to the music school of Paris CIM, where he started to learn harmony, writing and took piano lessons. He lived in Paris, worked on the radio, composed, recorded, painted and written several collections of poems, including 110 sonnets "Dans la joie *" and "Quatre-quarts" which was released by "Jours chômés" publishers in 2001. Then began a series of many concerts in Parisian cabarets and bars. He moved again, and studied theatre with Stanislas Nordey. After four albums issued between 1995 and 2004, he's preparing his next one "LP3" and finishing his live "La Luge" tour in France, Swiss and Belgium. He's now considered as one of the least formated singers in France, and hopefully, one of the most famous. He could become so right soon after he has released his next album "Ce garçon".! www.travisburki.com!
