ESTEBAN was born Fabien Scarlakens in the late 70's near Fontainebleau. He has a peaceful existence with his family and pets in the 80's, listening to the trendiest radio stations MAXXIMUM and VOLTAGE FM, and shopping records. His attraction for the club sounds and the piano lessons he takes at the castle of his little town turn him into tracks creation with keyboards.

In the 90's, he meets two guys who decide him to work in the music industry : Jean-Michel, the sound engineer of the radio station CANAL FM, then Jean-Patrick, a famous dance hits producer.

They both open him the doors of the sounds secrets and the show business.
ESTEBAN does International trade studies in Paris, starts working for the record company AIRPLAY RECORDS as a club tracks promoter, and spends the nights at the clubs LE QUEEN and LE PALACE.

These experiences help him to produce his first singles, as a RADIOACTIF / SONY MUSIC artist in 1999, under the name ANDORA.

Thanks to a trendy journalist, Thierry, he does his first showcases and interviews for press and television. He makes a few remixes for AMANDA LEAR, BOY GEORGE and BLACK BOX, as their producers like his kitsch & camp style !

In 2001, he writes the worldwide hit "Over You" for DADDY DJ, and starts to compose the album "More Love & Good Vibrations" with the female singer DESIRELESS ("Voyage Voyage") and to produce a club Show "La Vie est Belle" ("Life is Beautiful").

He mixes as a resident DJ at the nightclub LE QUEEN for the fabulous party "Jeudi C'Fou !" ("Crazy Thursday !"), a 100% French flavour Classics from the 70's and the 80's, where the pop idols perform on stage.
ESTEBAN launches in the same time his own parties "Dance paradise" and "Ouragan" ("Hurricane"), two 90's hits parties, in other big clubs in Paris, and works with the club performers YIANNA KATSOULOS, AGATHE and LADY.
The "Glam-As-You", the French version of the mythic party "G-A-Y" in London, wants him as a resident DJ, and ESTEBAN does many sets between the performances of DANNII MINOGUE, SOPHIE ELLIS BEXTOR, TATU or BODIES WITHOUT ORGANS. During the week, he is a DJ at the famous bar THE RAIDD BAR in the heart of the Parisian Gay Village.

During the summer 2005, he goes on the roads of France for a 30 dates tour besides DESIRELESS, as a singer and dancer, for a show with the singers JEAN-PIERRE MADER and ROSE LAURENS ("Africa").
2006 is a very busy year for ESTEBAN : he releases a remix of a French 80's club Classic "Je ne veux pas rentrer chez moi seule" ("I don't wanna go back home alone") under the name of ESTEBAN & BENIE, the dance album "The Missing Flowers" with JEANNE MAS, "Free Your Love" a duet with DESIRELESS which is the Anthem of the Moscow Pride, and starts to work on his solo album "Sunset Drive".
Results are good : ESTEBAN has a great promotion schedule including televisions and press interviews, the album with JEANNE MAS is released in the US and in France, thanks to the successul track "Summer Day" in the US Charts.
The DESIRELESS album "More Love & Good Vibrations" is released in the spring 2007 all over Europe (& in 2008 in Russia), while ESTEBAN works hard on his solo album and does a few remixes for other artists.

In 2008, he finishes recording "Sunset Drive" and releases it as a limited edition collectable CD Digipack, distributed on a few websites only. Several videoclips are taped, and then uploaded on the web (youtube...). On of them, "Be Wherever You Are", appears on ROCKAMERICA and IMPORT SOUND AND VISION Video DVDs in the US. These are the two video pools leaders in the country.
The Radio station NRJ WEB RADIO selects the track "Betty's Bar" as a new talent track to be voted by the public : it reaches place number one for five weeks.

In 2009 the music videos "Secret Love" and "Betty's Bar" appear also on ROCKAMERICA and IMPORT SOUND AND VISION in the US, and a sampler cd of "Sunset Drive"was sent to the French medias. The JEANNE MAS feat. DJ ESTEBAN project "The Flowers Collection" (mixes & remixes) has been released in France by FGL MUSIC and the rest of Europe by ZYX MUSIC. 

ESTEBAN recorded a second album "Absolute Wonder" for 2010, and released a CD-Maxi taken from this forthcoming album "Nonna", in duet with PATRICK RAY. This track and its remixes have been sent to the French radios, clubs & djs.

He did a new remix of DESIRELESS "Voyage, Voyage" that hits the Official French Club Hits, as the new edition of the album "More Love & Good Vibrations" will be released in April 2010.

2010 will be the "Absolute Wonder Year" !
