Formed at the end of 2006, Borderline
grew up really fast: they’ve been on their first European Tour in May,
opened for Paramore and Hell is For Heroes, Coheed And Cambria in
France, got sponsored by Atticus Clothing and have been on the Italian
label Wynona Records (Vanilla Sky, Melody Fall).
Their punk rock, emo and metal influences make them naturally sound
like American bands such as Armor for Sleep, Taking Back Sunday, Saosin
or The Used.
Concerning the name of band, from the first listening, you can quickly
get the deep meaning of it. As a matter of fact, what a “borderline”
person can feel is increased tenfold, somehow he only lives through
excessive emotions. They aim at conveying some of these emotions via
their music, so that the audience can experience the different phases
you go through when you're "borderline".
