arranger, Alain Mion is certainly one of a kind in the “jazz soul”
style.
Well known by the “funk addicts”, during the 70’s he has given its letters
of nobility to the jazz-funk “à la française” with his band CORTEX
Today, he is leading his international band, the "Alain Mion funKey
Combo".
Alain's discography includes more than 30 records and compilations
internationally distributed on French, Japanese, English and US labels
Fine melodist (radio hits composer), gifted with a virtuoso pianist
technique and a rare infectious energy, he has forged his own musical
universe mixing churchy style and impressionist inspiration.
During his career, Alain Mion has performed on many radio and TV shows as well
as at many international festivals and prestigious venues, performing
or recording from USA to China, from Sweden to Morocco, Poland,
Belgium, Switzerland etc.
