Cliché Boys is a Metal band based in Nice, south-eastern France. The band was formed in late 2002 (back then, it only featured one guitar, bass and drums) and got completed with additional guitarist and singer in 2005. Their music is a mix of heavy, power and groove but also incorporates dark ambient tones.On early March 2007, the band is recording his first E.P. called Overstated, which is released three weeks later. The record has been produced by Gaël Hallier (french bands Sikh and Vetha' s drummer) and Cliché Boys. From its release, the four tracks quickly created a growing interest from the public, and the audience' s attitude at the live shows only confirmed this tendency.
Remixed version of the first E.P. has also been remastered by Mats ''Limpan'' Lindfors at Cutting Room (Meshuggah, In Flames, Soilwork, Rammstein, etc...), Stockholm, Sweden. This new version of Overstated is available since late November 2007.
