Jasmine Vegas' story begun in New York City just after the No Wave Movement. Evasive woman and dada venturer, the surprising diva Jasmine shifted from burlesque adventure to underground exploration without
qualm. Clothing designer, East Village performer, leader of the Jasmine Band, she pursued multiplie artistic collaborations (Marc Ribot, Meredith Monk…).

Today, Jasmine is telling us her stories, with her 'Vegas stories style', taking us to that fabled place where the dice are always loaded, where nothing is 'all right', where the million neon light is shining in the deep insomniac night. In a hypnotic slow motion, she is setting, humming her haunting melodies, turning color like forgotten
photos.

Jasmine Vegas has put together all these songs in her new album TIME, a categorical and unique record beyond all categories. These 10 songs is a discovering of furtive glances, illuminating space.

In TIME, Jasmine Vegas just takes a look over her shoulders to consider moments of indelible souvenirs, of disillusion and pastoral escapes. Her poetry tooks its inspiration in urban violences, life choices, lost thoughts on grassy knolls, and in the choices of the renunciation of marvel. In this world, you can meet strange people with
merry-go-rounds, dusty corduroy jackets, glimmering apparitions under the falling rain…

This shadowy universe has been orchestrated by the producer Markus Dravs, faithful collaborator of Brian Eno, Depeche Mode or Björk. With Mr. Dravs' complicity, TIME is constructed as a musical gameboard exploring without any taboo the fertile plains of today's music.
