Sebastien Tellier is one of these few rare bred artists, combining virtuosity, humour and overall talent reminding us of entertainers à la Robert Wyatt, Syd Barret or Serge Gainsbourg. His live performances are considered as being intense, emotional experiences hypnotising the audience. 07-01-2008 Divine

This song, adapted for the occasion, will represent France
in the Eurovision Song Contest to be held in Belgrade, later this month.

‘It seems an inspired choice. Kooky, catchy and kitschy, his low-maintenance
bontempi Gallic pop floats on a Beach Boys harmonic breeze that defies
resistance.’ – The Times, May 2008

Divine
is taken from Sexuality, the third Sébastien Tellier album which was produced
by Guy-Manuel de Homem-Christo (Daft Punk). It is undoubtedly the triumphant
pop moment of Tellier’s career to date.

The release features two remixes – a blissed-out atmospheric space-ride courtesy of
Aussie-electro rockers Midnight Juggernauts whilst the other, a more glitchy
drawn-out affair, comes from Danger, the latest pretender to the French electro
crown.

Video produced by Ace Norton (Bloc Party, Simian Mobile Disco, The Faint, Death Cab
for Cutie).
