Liskou- « little fox » in polish- was born on a cold starry night in Warsaws suburbs. Then came the exile, then came love and then came the words Liskous had all the time he needed to build up his own language, in the suburbs of Paris. Time for disillusions and timeless influences : Serge Gainsbourg, Alain Bashung, Chopin, and many others With his first album, Liskou invites us in his haunted garden, and shows us round the house : the beauty spot (beauté cachée), says a prayer in the back-room (loraison), and takes his time to tell us secret stories for the first time. Liskous first album could be a tribute to French elegance, it is purely and simply a generous and precious gift of a disappointed Romantique that tries not to become the ideal man.
