Since the band was formed in 1993, Mahatma have been working to build
and develop their own unique form of metal. They've been working hard
to construct a powerful and heavy sound that will earn them a place in
the metal lineage.
They've been true to the scene, honing their skills and stage presence
in the underground. Their live shows explode with destructive power
fueled by their tireless energy.
They like playing heavy metal with crushing riffs and diverse rhythmic
patterns. No matter what, Mahatma aims to stay heavy and their
authenticity has been confirmed by fans at numerous live shows.
Although they are working on their music in a difficult place for
metal, they have confidence that they can play as heavy as any band
and with their unique energy they hope their music will live on
forever.
With the release of their 2nd album in 2007, they have shown how much
they have developed and matured in composition and performance. They
are band that will keep on developing without limits.
Mahatma, Korea's heaviest heavy metal band describe their music
simply, "We'll stop headbanging when we're dead!"
