- albums, bands, concerts, recordings - that the hyperactive workaholic Monsieur
Laloy has been involved in, in the past five years or so. It would make a long
and impressive list. Here his diatonic accordeon is paired with Jean-Christophe's
piano and compositions. The best description of this music would be modern
conservatoire music with decided folk and worldmusic leanings. There is probably
nothing to compare it with in Britain but it is a similar mould to the compositions
of Carl Hession and Micheal O Suilleabhain in Ireland.
This is thoughtful, enjoyable music."
